Just last saturday, 8 November, i went to view a 2years old border collie, who is up for adoption. She’s very small in size for a border collie but has a very sweet temperament with human but relatively shy towards dogs. Personally, what i like to do after i adopt a dog is to bring them out the whole day, and head back home late night, so they will knock out once they are at their new place and not pacing up and down. So i brought Junior, the newly adopted dog along with Hyper, Ugly ( our yellow sided conure), Xiao Hei (our 1 out of 5 guinea pigs) to Pets Stations warehouse sale for all our pets’ stuff back home! Just so you know, we have 2 dogs (including Junior), 1 small parrot, 5 guinea pigs. Freeze dried salmon/tuna treats are sold at 3 packs for $8, usual price will be $8.50 for 1 pack! great deal!

After our crazy shopping at woodlands we went down to pasir ris, downtown east. For PETAS 2014, a pet event, whereby alot dog owners and trainer will be there for competition and also to visit the booth for some free goodies! As we know Junior is bit shy towards dogs, and doesnt do well with face-to-face greeting with other dogs, we have to plan our walk route. Avoid the crowded area and always keep an eye on Junior, when she give any calming signal or stress, we will walk to a area where there’s no dogs near and have a time out.

We didnt stopped after the Pet event, after which, we send the animals for grooming. As for Junior, she needs a bath badly, as she was quite neglected back home and smelled really awful! just imagine, we drove around with the window wind down, cause the car smell the moment she jump in! After a nice bath for our pets. We went to meet up with a group of friends of mine and chill for the next few hours.

Home sweet home! Both the dogs were drained out, to help Junior to calm down in the house. I leashed her to my window and within 10mins, she’s in her lala land 🙂 tired dog = happy dog 🙂

Till now, we have Junior for about 1 week, hasnt starts any form of training yet, just focusing on recall outdoor. Hopefully you will be able to see her in the agility ring soon 🙂
